This would lead me to believe that it was made after 1920, per the Savage Arms website, which states that was the year that Savage bought J. It also says proof tested for 2 3/4 inch chamber.

I recently inherited a Stevens 820B 12ga shotgun from my grandfather's passing. I have been looking for information on how to take it apart, there is a problem with it not moving the shells from the tube up. I have checked many sites for manuals or how to field strip/take apart one of these shotguns.
