DC Talk (stylized as dc Talk) is a Christian rap and rock trio. The group was formed at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1987 by Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Max Smith.They released five major studio albums together: DC Talk (1989), Nu Thang (1990), Free at Last (1992), Jesus Freak (1995), and Supernatural (1998). In 2002, the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music. DC Talk (styled as dc Talk), was a Christian rap and rock trio. The group was formed in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1987 by Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Max Smith. ~this is from an out-of-print cassette that Kevin released (before he changed his name!) to accompany his also out-of-print book of poetry of the same name. It contains readings by Kevin of some of the poems from the book. I ripped these from the cassette itself into mp3 format, and did a small amount of digital re-mastering to improve the sound quality. ~this release was bundle with a few select copies of the Welcome to the Freak Show VHS. The track is essentially the same as the Organic Mix, but without Toby’s rap near the end of the song
